BIOGRAPHY

Selected as a Top Lawyer in Education Law by San Diego Magazine each year from 2013 to present.

 

Co-author, College and School Law - Analysis, Prevention, and Forms, published by the American Bar Association.

 

Member, Community College Subcommittee of the Education Code Revision Advisory Committee to the California Legislature.

 

 

 

Tim specializes in the representation of public and private colleges and schools in all legal matters relating to their operations, transactions and related litigation.  He also represents California public agencies in labor, business and property matters.  He served as Deputy County Counsel for the County of San Diego (1972-1979), where he devoted most of his practice to education law.  He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Central and Northern Districts of California, as well as before the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
