Ms. Hyde represents a broad variety of business and real estate clients, as well as public agencies, with respect to both transactional and litigation matters.  She has developed a note-worthy reputation for being a particularly adept and effective problem-solver, resolving business and real estate disputes utilizing strategic negotiation and alternative dispute resolution procedures, as well as traditional litigation and appellate processes.  Ms. Hyde is a trained arbitrator and mediator and, in addition to using her skills as an advocate in resolving conflicts for her clients, she has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and the National Association of Securities Dealers (now FINRA), and is currently accepting engagements from counsel seeking the services of a private arbitrator or mediator.


During law school, Ms. Hyde was a published author and served as Associate Editor for the San Diego Law Review.  She served as the Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution ("ADR") Section of the San Diego County Bar Association for 1993.  She has served on the Board of Directors of Commercial Real Estate Women of San Diego (President, 1995), Palomar Christian Conference Center, First Baptist Church of San Diego, and the Interfaith Shelter Network.


Ms. Hyde has addressed groups of both lawyers and real estate owners and professionals on a broad variety of topics, including small business formation, real property leasing, commercial landlord-tenant matters, escrow issues, and the use of injunctions in litigation, while serving as a speaker for numerous organizations such as CEB (Continuing Education of the Bar), Lawyers Club, San Diego Trial Lawyers, and Commercial Real Estate Women.  She has also authored a variety of articles on commercial landlord-tenant issues and various litigation topics.
